Boston-based trio The Saddest Landscape are heading into the studio to begin work on its first full-length record since 2003. The band is currently weighing its label options but the record should see a late Summer / early Fall 2010 release. Last year, the band released a 2xLP vinyl discography, All Is Apologized For. All Is Forgiven., on its own Cover Your Heart Records.
The Saddest Landscape have also announced that Just Say No! Records will be releasing a split 9" (yes, 9"!) with Pianos Become The Teeth this summer. The band will contribute songs to “Connections Vol II” as well, which is an international compilation from Sweden's Moment of Collapse featuring six bands from six different countries. They will be heading back to Europe in June. Among the dates to be announced, the band will be playing the legendary Cry Me A River Festival in Germany.
